Bhaktapur is a preserved, ancient city in the eastern corner of the Kathmandu Valley. This second largest city in the valley lies at 1400m altitude, along the northern bank of the Hanumante river, 14 km east of Kathmandu.

This place has a beautiful, historic center that is listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site. Here you’ll find rich culture, temples, wood, metal and stone artworks. You’ll also see many traditional houses, pottery and weaving industries, temples and ponds.
