Along Nepal's border with India you'll find the Terai, our flatlands and jungle. Here are three National Parcs. In for example Chitwan National Parc live more than 50 different species of mammals, including one-horned rhinos, Asian elephants, Royal Bengal tigers, gharials, leopards, monkeys and sloth bears.

Also bird watching is an incredible experience in Nepal and can be combined easily with this jungle tour.

when is the best time

The most comfortable time to visit the jungle is from October to March, when skies are relatively clear and the average daily temperature is around 25°C. However, the best time to see animals is late January to March when the grass is slashed by villagers.
