I loved the long walks, singing and chatting our way through the Annapurna Circuit

It was my first time travelling in Asia, and it turned into such a special trip. As a teenager I loved the long walks, singing and chatting our way through the Annapurna. We also spent so many fun evenings playing cards before going to bed. Everything was really well organised and went super smoothly. A holiday I’ll remember forever!

I recently did a trek in Nepal with my family through By Mountain People and had a fantastic experience.

Govinda helped organise everything and was easy to deal with. Once we were on the trail, Buddhi was an outstanding guide – friendly, patient and very experienced. He set a good pace, kept an eye on everyone, and made sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves.

Our porters were excellent as well. They worked incredibly hard and were always in good spirits.

We felt well supported the whole way and had an amazing trip. I would happily recommend By Mountain People to anyone planning a trek in Nepal.

We recently completed an Everest Base camp trek with trekking by mountain people. We were lucky to have a fully customised private trip organised by Gavinda who seamlessly arranged everything from start to finish. Our guide Bhuddi was incredible, and sorted out everything for us to the point where we had nothing to worry about. Min and soroj were our porters, who worked tirelessly with Buddhi to make the trip an awesome experience. Would highly reccomend this company and team for anyone looking to enjoy a life changing experience.

We had an amazing twelve-day trek in the Manaslu region thanks to Govinda, Buddhi, Cham and Ngima

We had an amazing twelve-day trek in the Manaslu region thanks to Govinda (organizer), Buddhi (guide), Cham and Ngima (porters). Without exception super friendly people, but also very flexible on every front, which meant we could do whatever we felt like each day. I would recommend it to anyone who loves active adventures and good company!

We were charmed by this small-scale travel agency at the holiday fair. Everything exuded enthusiasm. We certainly didn’t regret our choice. The personal approach, also during the trek, was always warm and attentive.
Govinda didn’t walk with us, but the porter Chham and guide Kaji were professional, caring, and patient, which made our trip unforgettable.
We would love to book another trip with By Mountain People (BMP) and can sincerely recommend them.

We had a fantastic hike in Nepal. We went via Namche Bazar, Dole, Gokyo to Gokyo Ri (5357m), quite a tough climb. The weather was beautiful with breathtaking views of various mountains ranging from 6000 to 8000 meters high, and we also had a stunning view of Mount Everest! The next day we crossed a glacier, again with beautiful views. After that we crossed the Cho La pass at 5368m, a steep climb! Our guide Rasham and porter Dibi helped us so well, truly fantastic 💪🏼

The following days it started snowing and became very foggy. At that point we couldn’t continue. We were able to discuss with Govinda how to proceed. We also had regular contact with Govinda checking in on how our trip was going.

After the hike we visited Chitwan Park, truly beautiful and a wonderful way to relax after the mountain hike. We also visited Bhaktapur, a magnificent royal city.
We are very satisfied with the organization by By Mountain People. We could discuss things extensively and make adjustments when needed, absolutely top notch!

Thanks to Govinda’s quick actions, we found a new route toward ABC (Annapurna Base Camp)

Our initial plan with a group of men was to cross the Thorong La Pass, but unfortunately, due to the weather, we had to turn back on the very first day because all the villages were closing down. Thanks to Govinda’s quick actions, we found a new route toward ABC (Annapurna Base Camp). A beautiful route along the Fishtail, and at ABC, a view of multiple high mountain peaks. Govinda always walked at the back to ensure everyone reached that day’s final goal. The porters were super friendly and often joined in for a game in the evening. I will definitely return to Nepal someday to do the Thorong La Pass!
